“Episode II” jumps from the big screen…to the bigger screen

Star Wars on a screen eight stories tall and 175 feet wide? An impossible dream in today’s world of living-room-sized theaters? Not anymore.

Starting today, Star Wars fans can see Star Wars: Episode II—Attack of the Clones at IMAX theaters across the US. The film has been digitally remastered for the much larger IMAX screen. However, with every gift there comes a price: the film’s running time has also been shortened.

The full-length version of Episode II will be available on DVD November 12. The two DVD set will also contain deleted scenes and tons of other special features.
